Project SCALED – Supporting Content and Language Learning Across Diversity (EOG/21/K4/W/0127W/0174) benefits from a EUR 100,266 grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants.

The "SCALED course - Increasing accessibility in language education" aims to promote equity, anti-discrimination, and inclusion in language education through increasing accessibility and universal design in course planning, design and implementation. It focuses on diverse learners, including learners with special needs.

The course advocates the idea that student diversity is a norm, and it should be celebrated.

The course is a part of the initial training and continuing professional development of pre-service and in-service foreign language school- teachers and academic teachers. The course equips teachers with tools to eliminate barriers and effectively include all students in the language education process. Long-term benefits include equalizing educational opportunities and significantly improving the well-being of people learning foreign languages and learning content through a foreign language.

The "SCALED Course - Increasing accessibility in language education" was designed as collaborative effort of the University of Warsaw and Oslo Metropolitan University.
